On behalf of the Mississippi Association of County Agricultural Agents I welcome you to our website. It is an honor to serve as the 2009 MACAA President. I am fortunate to be affiliated with a group of Extension educators earnestly dedicated to serving the educational needs of our fellow Mississippians.

While the Mississippi State University Extension Service provides valuable assistance to various clientele groups, MACAA functions to provide our members highly effective professional development opportunities and recognition for outstanding educational service.

The MACAA website will be updated frequently to make you aware of professional development opportunities via MACAA and MSU-ES. Additionally, stay tuned for information concerning our 2009 MACAA Professional Improvement Conference to be conducted in the Northwest Mississippi area.

I look forward to a productive and successful year for MACAA in 2009. It is our responsibility to make this happen.
